Shall we wait to congratulate the PWD?

A spanking new road, made in record time, cuts down commute time between Manipal-Udupi but how long will the luxury last? Shall we save praises for the PWD till ater the monsoon? The real test will be how the new road withstands the rains, and if there is significant damage-given that it is after all a new road-how long will the PWD take to spruce it up again.
