17 Covid +ve cases in DK, Udupi reports 22 cases

Mangaluru: Seventeen persons, including 14 Saudi returnees tested positive for coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada while Udupi reported 22 new cases on Friday, June 12.

Those who tested positive in Dakshina Kannada today includes 16 males and one female. Apart from the 14 Saudi returnees, two Maharashtra returnees and one case of SARI accounted for remaining cases.

In Udupi, today’s infected include 21 returnees from Maharashtra and one is a contact of a person infected earlier. The district also saw 125 discharges today. Of the 991 confirmed cases, in Udupi 474 persons have recovered
