21-YO girl loses hand, several critical in KSRTC bus-diesel tanker collision

Vijaypura: Nearly 40 persons, mostly college students sustained injuries in a collision between a KSRTC bus and a diesel tanker on NH 50 in Sindagi village of the district here on Wednesday.
A 21-year-old girl identified as Sridevi has reportedly lost one of her hands in the mishap. The injured were administered preliminary treatment at Sindagi government hospital and were later shifted to the district hospital and nearby private hospitals for advanced treatment. The condition of several students is said to be critical.
As per reports the bus was headed towards Sindagi while the tanker was coming from Kalaburagi.
Local police arrived at the spot and conducted an investigation.
