24 hours of prohibitory orders issued in Honnavara

Honnavara: Tension prevailed after 21-year-old Paresh Mesta’s body was found in a lake. Prohibitory orders have been ordered for 24 hours to bring situation under control.
The orders are in force from 11 am today until 11 am tommorow.
The authorities have requested the people of this region to maintain peace and order to bring situation under control here.
The orders don’t apply to public vehicles, the AC clarified.
Missing youth, Paresh Mesta, was found dead in a lake here. For the past 10 days, Honnavar and districts nearby have witnessed communal clashes and Mesta reportedly went missing on Wednesday night, after he reportedly tried to escape from stone pelting by a mob belonging to a particular community.
