25-year-old woman commits suicide by hanging self

Belthangady: A woman named Chaitra Adiga (25), has committed suicide by hanging herself on Thursday at Mundruppady of Dharmasthala.

Chaitra was married to Deepak three years back. The couple has a kid too.

As per reports, she had worked as a teacher for some time in a private school in Ujire. For the past two years, she was at home. She had completed her MA and wanted to pursue B. Ed for which, her in-laws had told her to join classes from next year.

Reports also suggest that she was active in cultural events.

Meanwhile, Belthangady Tahsildar and the police have assessed the situation. The Dharmasthala Police have filed a case and have begun an investigation.
