35-year-old hacked to death in Belagavi

Belagavi: A 35-year-old man was hacked to death on a public road in Rait Galli area on Thursday, December 17.
The deceased has been identified as Jaypal Garani (35), a resident of Ambedkar Galli.
The police reached the spot after residents saw the dead body on the street on Thursday morning. Officers suspect the incident might have taken place during late night on Wednesday or by the early hours of Thursday.
“The victim was found dead on the road and his body was seen with injuries due to a possible attack with sharp weapons on his neck and body,” the police said.
