40 kids fall sick after eating ice cream

Udupi: As many as 40 children took ill, reportedly after consuming ice cream at Hengavalli and Belve Gram Panchayats near Siddapura.
The children were admitted to Belve and Shankaranarayana PHCs where they are said to be recovering and out of danger.
As per a localite, the children had consumed cup ice cream being sold by few ice cream merchants from North India on Saturday and later they began complaining of stomach ache.
The police rushed to the spot and collected information on the incident.
