50 children fall ill after eating mid-day meal

Chitradurga: As many as 50 children of Channabasaiahnahatti Primary School near here took ill after eating mid-day meal on Tuesday.
Several students complained of stomach ache, vomiting and uneasiness after consuming the midday meals provided in the school. Following which teachers, with the help of the villagers, rushed the students to the community health centre.
Due to the shortage of beds in the hospital, most of the student were made to sleep on the floor complained the parents of the students who fell ill.
