53-year-old farmer commits suicide in Badami

Badami: A 53-year-old farmer has committed suicide on late Friday, May 6 night in Badami of Bagalkot district
Virayya Basayya Hangaragi was found hanging in his house in Nadikeshwara village of Badami.
As per sources, Basayya an onion grower has incurred huge losses this year as the result he was not able to repay the loan which he had taken from local banks.
He is survived by an 80-year-old mother, wife, and three children.
A case in this regard has been registered with the local police and investigation is on.
