ACB raid at KSRTC B.C.Road Depot

Bantwal: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) police of Mangaluru conducted a raid at KSRTC depot at B.C. Road, on Thursday, August 2nd. The raid was conducted after the Bureau received a complaint from one of the staff working at KSRTC.
The ACB police received a complaint about misappropriation of funds and rampant corruption occurring at KSRTC depot’s, from Farooq Khan K, KSRTC staff attached to Mysuru division.
On Wednesday, August 1st, the ACB conducted raids at KSRTC depot in Mangaluru followed by the raid at the Bantwal depot on Thursday. During the raid, the officials questioned the drivers and conductors and checked cash section and records as per the accusation in the complaint.
The raids were conducted according to the direction of ADGP (ACB) and under the leadership of SP Shruthi and other senior officials. The raid at Bantwal depot is still ongoing.
