Accused in Deepak Rao murder case arrested for raping a minor

Mangaluru: A man was arrested by the police for raping a minor girl.

The arrested is Mohammed Naushad.

He was arrested by the Mangaluru city police on the charges of raping a minor girl.

Naushad was one of the accused in the Bharatiya Janata Party activist Deepak Rao murder case that took place three years ago.

Rao, who worked for a mobile recharge service outlet, was hacked to death by a group of persons in Krishapura Katipalla near Surathkal.
