Mangaluru: The state government has created a plan to gather information regarding all the villages which will including history, geography, culture, folk and various other area and compile it similar to Wikipedia, said state tourism minister C T Ravi speaking at the tourism progress review meeting at the DC office on Monday.
The state government aims to complete this project within Dec 2020 and the information regarding all the villages will be collected by the students of the arts division. In this way, the collected information will be made available through a separate website, he informed.
The government has thought of changing the format of Janyanti celebration in the state. Hence, opinion is being taken from the experts of various fields’ post which the action will be taken besides, a study will be conducted regarding the necessities of Yatri Nivas in the district, he explained.
