Bengaluru: Senior Kannada movie actor Jaggesh has tweeted a condolence note to the parents of a college student who committed suicide here.
The suicide victim, Jayant Reddy, was a third-semester student of BE at Bangalore Institute of Technology.
The exact cause of his suicide is unknown.
Jaggesh tweeted, “Deeply saddened by this student’s suicide. You did not die alone, dear. You also killed your parents and your friends. One must strive and strive until one succeeds. Instead of external knowledge parents must teach their children to be more stronger and resilient. Do not make properties for children, make your children your properties.”
Jayant had come to write an exam. However, he committed suicide in college.
VV Puram police inspected the place and took his corpse to KIMS Hospital.
