Actor Sudeep approaches Chief Minister

Bengaluru: Sandalwood star Sudeep meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah two days subsequent to approaching Janata Dal (S) State president H.D. Kumaraswamy has made a perplexity in political field.
In spite of the fact that sources near Mr. Sudeep said the actor met Mr. Siddaramaiah to welcome him for the inauguration of the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup Cricket Tournament on Saturday, his hourlong meeting activated hypothesis in political circles, with the Assembly elections practically around the bend.
Both the JD(S) and the Congress are said to be excited about fielding Sudeep to contest the Assembly elections from Molakalmuru constituency in Chitradurga area.
Sudeep held a breakfast meeting with Mr. Kumaraswamy, Anitha Kumaraswamy, MLA for K.R. Pet Sa.Ra. Mahesh and actor Nikhil Kumar on Monday days after his uncle Sarovar Srinivas quit the JD(S) and joined the Congress alongside the former Minister M.C. Nanaiah. This meeting was portrayed as an endeavor to alleviate the sentiments of Mr. Sudeep.
In any case, a JD(S) report later expressed that the party had nothing to do with governmental issues and film. Sources near Mr. Sudeep elucidated that it was “not political” in the visit. It was a ” kindness call to Nikhil’s home for breakfast”, sources said.
A couple of days prior, Mr. Sudeep had welcomed Mr. Kumaraswamy to his home for lunch and examined a scope of issues, including political issues and silver screen.
As all the three political gatherings — Congress, BJP and JD(S) — are endeavoring to charm Mr. Sudeep, the actor has elucidated that he has no aim of entering politics.
