Actor Surendra Bantwal murdered over financial issue

Bantwal: Coastalwood actor Surendra Bantwal was found murdered in his flat at BC Road here on Wednesday, October 21.

Surendra has acted in few Tulu films.

Police suspect that a financial dispute might have been the cause for the murder. An investigation is underway.

In the year 2018, the actor was arrested for assaulting two BJP party workers with a machete at Bantwal. A video of the incident had gone viral on social media websites.
