Raichur: Ahead of Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s village stay programme in Raichur the latter held meeting with the officials.
Kumaraswamy on Wednesday met the officials in Raichur to discuss about his village stay programme. In Raichur, CM will inaugurate as many as 36 developmental projects.
Kumaraswamy also met his party leaders, along with Siddaramaiah to lay out an action plan for the smooth functioning of the presently ruling Congress-JD(S) government in the state.
CM will be spending a night at a village school in Karegudda, in Raichur district and interact with the people of the village and its neighboring places, informed sources.
On June 21 Kumaraswamy commenced his Grama Vastavya 2.0 from Northern Karnataka.
“Grama Vastavya” programme was first started in Kumaraswamy’s regime as the state’s chief minister from 2006-2007 with BJP’s BS Yeddyurappa as his Deputy Chief Minister. After his party, Janata Dal (Secular), faced a severe drubbing in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the programme focuses on strengthening the party’s relations with the locals and noting the plight of the common man.
