Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa appealed to the people across the state to cooperate and stay home in order to effectively control the spread of Covid-19.

Speaking at a press conference, he said, all the religious leaders must cooperate and also create awareness among the people of their community regarding Covid-19.

He further said, around 391 people who had attended the prayer meet at Nizamuddeen in Delhi have been identified and are placed under home quarantine. There are chances that the rest have travelled to some other districts and the district administrators have been advised to find them and put them under quarantine.

We have also decided to conduct medical examination of each and every person who participated in the event. In Bidar, 11 out of 91 people have been tested positive for Covid-19. In Bangalore, 30 people were tested, and it was found that none of them are infected, he added
