Ambareesh’s body to be airlifted to Mandya

Bengaluru: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave green signal to airlift  actor Ambareesh’s mortal remains to his hometown Mandya 

Addressing press persons Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that Ambareesh’s mortal remain will be airlifted to Mandya at 4 PM. He also thanked the defence ministry for providing a chopper to airlift the body.

HD Kumaraswamy had requested the government to provide a defence chopper to airlift the body in order to allow the public in Mandya to pay last respects to their favourite actor and politician.

Meanwhile, actors Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj and others paid homage to Ambareesh while most of the personalities from Kannada film industry have camped at the stadium
