Amit Shah begins three-day Gujarat visit

Ahmedabad: BJP president Amit Shah today embarked on a three-day visit to Gujarat to chalk out a strategy for the Assembly polls due later this year.
During the visit, Shah will hold meetings with the office-bearers of different cells of the party, departments and leaders involved in the election management, a party release said.
“Today, Shah guided the leaders who are part of state BJP’s campaign and publicity department as well as those who handle social media operations,” the release said.
During the next two days, Shah would hold crucial meetings with the state BJP’s core team, senior party leaders, cooperative leaders as well as with those part of the manifesto committee, it added.
