Netizens poured in with messages for Milkha Singh.
Mikha Singh is perhaps the greatest sportsperson in India's history, the proof lies in the fact that there hasn't been a single athlete who could match his stats in more than 60 years since he retired! RIP Sir! ?#MilkhaSingh #

Some athletes don't require any introduction. Their name is imbibed in everyone's heart and soul. There may be a significant generation gap but not everyone is capable enough to do something for their homeland. It needs immense courage and an always burning fire#RIPMilkhaSingh
