Another minor earthquake in Varahi basin region

Thirthahalli /Kundapur: A minor earthquake was experienced early in the morning around 2:25 am at Varahi backwater region and the backwaters of Mani Dam in Hosanagara taluk on Tuesday February 26th. This is the third time in the month of February that an earthquake has been experienced here. However, intensity of the earthquake has not been recorded on the Richter’s scale, inform Hosanagar taluk administration.
Earthquake accompanied by sound was experienced within Agumbe Hobli limits near Mogaravalli Hanasa, Mallakiya, Huruli and Gardaragadde, informed the residents of that area. The mild earthquake lasted for around 2 seconds in the Mani water basin region at Yaduru, Sulagodu and Kharugunda GP limits, informed the locals.
