Mangaluru: “BJP has repeatedly blaming that the state government delayed land acquisition and thereby halted development works of Mangaluru -Bengaluru highway. I will retire from active politics if the allegations are true,” said former minister and senior Congress leader Ramanath Rai speaking after inaugurating the Congress election office at Bendoorwell on Sunday, March 31.
“NDA came to power by making false promises in the manifesto. Modi had promised to give employment for youth but he is asking them to work as pakoda sellers. Demonetisation was intended to bring back black money which is also proved now that it was a false promise. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is Chowkidar of investors, Ambani and other businessmen of the country,” alleged Mr Rai.
Speaking on the occasion Congress MP Candidate Mithun Rai said, “The war has begun. This war is between Dharma and Adharma, complete development and zero development, misinterpretation and truth. April 1 will be a black day for all of us as Vijaya Bank is going to merge with Bank of Baroda. If I come to power I will make sure that Vijaya Bank will restart its service yet again.”
