Baba Ramdev’s 5-day Yoga camp in Udupi from Dec 3

Udupi: Paryaya Sri Palimar Math in association with Patanjali Yoga Samithi, Haridwar is organising a five-day Yoga camp, with aim of making people health conscious, at Sri Krishna Mutt from December 3 to 7.
Addressing a press meet at Kanaka Mantapa of Sri Krishna Math here on Monday, September 23, Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji of Palimaru Math informed that the yoga camp will be conducted at the Mutts parking area from 5 am to 7 am from December 3 to 7. As Yoga guru Baba Ramdev will guide participants about the Asanas during the 5-day camp, he urged people to make good use of this opportunity.
Samithi’s state convener Bhawar Lal Arya told media persons that the samithi conducts yoga camp annually in a state every year and this time they have chosen Udupi. Around 30000 people are expected to participate in the event.
“About 100 trained assistants of Baba Ramdev will assist the participants to perform the Asanas. Baba Ramdev will speak about Pranayama, Surya Namaskara and good lifestyle to make people health-conscious,” he added.
Further he informed that 101 Yoga camps will be held across the district before the 5-day camp.
“Paryaya seer Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha will felicitate Baba Ramdev. The Yoga camp is free for all and participants are only required to arrive at the venue on time,” he said.
Vedavyasa Tanthri, Diwan of Sri Paryaya Math, Sujatha Marla, state women in charge Patanjali Yoga Peeth, Dr Jnaneshwar Nayak, State co-in charge Patanjali Yoga Peeth, Balaji Raghavendra Acharya, P R Prahlad Acharya, administrator of Sri Krishna math, Karamballi Shivaram Shetty, Ajith Shetty, district secretary, Shreesha Bhat, PRO of Sri Krishna math and Vishnu Acharya were present.
