Bajaj launches Avenger Street 160 ABS at Rs.82,253

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Avenger Street 160 cruiser bike with ABS at Rs.82,253 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bajaj plans to replace its Avenger Street 180 model with this new Avenger 160. The bike gets single-channel ABS as a standard feature and is around Rs.5,000 lesser than the Avenger 180.
The Avenger Street 160 is a modern cruiser bike with a retro-styled roadster design oval headlamp with LED DRLs, new body graphics, street control handlebar, low-slung seat and black alloy wheels. Except the engine, most of the features have been borrowed from the Avenger 180 including the semi-analogue instrument cluster.
Powering the bike is a 160.4cc, air-cooled engine which delivers 14.8bhp at 8500rpm power output and 13.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm providing effortless city riding. The engine gets mated to a five-speed gearbox. Colours offered for the new Avenger 160 include Ebony Black and Spicy Red.
