Bantwal: Case registered against COVID-19 +ve man for attending marriage

Bantwal: A case has been registered against a resident of Maninalkur village here for attending a marriage even after testing positive for COVID-19.
The man had tested positive for the virus on May 10 and still attended a wedding ceremony in Karkala on Thursday.
The matter came to light when the PDO of the gram panchayat visited the house of the infected person.
The PDO later filed a complaint at the Bantwal rural police station.
