Bantwal: Cattle trafficking bid foiled; cow rescued

Bantwal: A cow was rescued from being smuggled in a vehicle for alleged cattle trafficking at Ira village in Bantwal Taluk on Saturday.
It is said that Rural SI Harish intercepted a vehicle near Ira school ground and a cow, which was tied with ropes in a very cruel manner and transported without any permission was rescued. However, the culprits escaped from the spot.
A case has been registered.
