Bantwal: Father-son duo arrested for running Illegal cattle slaughterhouse

Bantwal: A father-son duo was arrested for running a cattle slaughterhouse and selling beef illegally from a makeshift joint on the early morning of July 1.
The Bantwal Town police team led by SI Avinash arrested Mohammad and Sadiq of Golthamajalu here. Meat worth thousands of rupees made ready for sale was also confiscated from them.
The raid was conducted based on complaints by locals that stolen cattle were illegally slaughtered and sold by the duo.
