Bantwal woman tests Covid +ve; first fatality in Dakshina Kannada dist

Mangaluru: A 50-year-old woman who passed away at Wenlock hospital earlier this morning (April 19) has tested positive for coronavirus.

The woman hailing from Bantwal was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after she complained of breathing problems. She passed away on Sunday morning after her health condition deteriorated.

This is the first Covid 19 related death in Dakshina Kannada district
