BBMP launches tool to decentralize Covid-19 response

Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has launched a website in order to decentralize Covid-19 response in the city.

Named ‘BL Cares (Bengaluru Local COVID Awareness, Response & Emergency Sahaya)’, the initiative is expected to help in collaboration with citizens at the booth-level to control the spread of the coronavirus. The website was launched on Friday, August 14.

Speaking with this regard Bengaluru Mayor M Goutham Kumar said, “The website can be accessed at http://BLCares.in and booth-level committees will work in coordination with the Ward Committees.”
