Bellary: Man chops off tongue, offers it to deity

In a bizzare incident, a man chopped off his tongue at a temple in Uppar Hosahalli village, Siraguppa Taluk on Sunday.

He did the act as an offering to the deity.

The man identified as Veeresh has been admitted to a nearby hospital.
