Belthangady: Due to heavy rains, a holiday was declared for schools in Belthanady Taluk on Monday, July 4 due to incessant rains.
Heavy rains continue here in the Dakshina Kannada district. Students in certain areas will find it difficult to go to schools. The holiday was declared for the safety of such children.
The IMD had sounded an orange alert for the district on July 4 and 5.
