Belthangady: Police arrest man accused of killing father

Beltangady: The Police arrested a driver near Mangalore State Bank on Wednesday, August 26 in connection with the murder of his father Vasu Sapalya (66),
Vasu Sapalya was killed on August 24 during the morning walk near Junior College road. His third son Dayananda was missing and the police have suspected his involvement in this incident.
After the incident, Dayananda started working as a taxi driver in Mangaluru. After two days of continuous search, the police have arrested him on Wednesday near State Bank on Wednesday.
During preliminary interrogation, Dayananda confessed that he killed his father because his father abused him.
The police are investigating further.
