Bengaluru: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker Mohammad Hussain, who was attacked on May 4, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.

He was being treated in a local hospital here.

Earlier on May 4, Hussain was attacked in his office by some unknown persons.

The BJP has alleged that the attack was for political vengeance.

Later, a complaint was lodged in a local police station after which the police arrested four people in connection of the case.

The family members of Hussain alleged that he was killed because he joined the saffron-party.
