Bengaluru: A major fire broke out at Bellandur lake in Bengaluru on March 4.

Sarjapur fire personnel and Lake Marshals reached the spot to extinguish the fire. With the help of three fire engines, officials brought the fire under control.

It is doubted that the chemical effluents and sewage which are discharged into the lake might be the cause of the fire. Further details regarding the same are awaited.
