Bengaluru Police Investigating Alleged Assault Case on Student from North East

Bengaluru: Bengaluru police have started investigating the complaint filed by a student from Arunachal Pradesh alleging his house owner Hemanth Kumar beating him and forcefully making him to lick his shoes for using excess water in Bengaluru. The victim of the incident is pursuing his higher education at a private institution in the state capital.
“A student from Arunachal Pradesh, Higio Guntey was beaten. However, the police are investigating into the student’s claim that he was forced to lick his house owner’s shoes for using excessive water,” said Bengaluru North East DCP Dr M B Boralingaiagh.
Meanwhile speaking to the press reporters, the victim stated that his house owner was beaten him severely and he was forced to kiss and lick his house owner’s shoes as punishment for using excess water. He was not in a position to file a complaint before the police on the same day as he was very weak and admitted to the hospital. The victim said that at present he is staying at a new locality leaving his house.
