Amid incidents of an unidentified biker misbehaving with women cyclists in Bengaluru, police are trying to identify the accused by gathering evidence through CCTV footage from the locality.
It is suspected that the accused is a food delivery boy.
The latest such incident took place at a place on the New BEL Road on Sunday where a woman cyclist was hit from behind. She filed a complaint with the Sadashivanagar police station. She also told police that on May 25, a bike rider who came from behind touched her inappropriately near Mekhri Circle.
Another woman cyclist too filed a complaint at Sadashivanagar police station regarding a biker who misbehaved with her near the Cauvery Junction Underpass
The complainants have not been able to identify the bikers or note down the registration number of the bike. However, as per their statements, the biker carried a bag on the rear side of the vehicle.
The police suspected that the same person was involved in both the cases and have launched a manhunt for him.
