Bengaluru: Woman kidnapped and assaulted

Bengaluru: A 28-year-old teacher was kidnapped by three people near her residence on March 18 night and was assaulted before she was left on the roadside near Kasavanahalli in an unconscious state in the early hours of March 19.
The victim has sustained injuries and has been admitted to St John’s Hospital. The incident took place when the victim was walking towards her apartment on Sarjapura Road around 9.15pm on March 18 when three men in a car stopped her and pulled her into the car. The victim screams for help and pushed and kicked the car door but the men managed to kidnap her.
The Bellandur police have registered a case and are in search of the accused based on the registration number of the car provided by a couple who were eye witness of the incident. The couple immediately alerted the police and gave them the registration number of the car.
The police said that the accused took the victim to an isolated place, where they assaulted her. They later dumped her on the road.
