Bengaluru: Police arrested a 32-year-old youth in connection with the theft of cars while posing as a used car dealer and recovered and seized seven cars from his possession
The arrested, Srinivas N, a resident of Chikkasanne in Devanahalli happens to be a school dropout and used to work as a car mechanic.
As per the complaint filed by Anil Kumar with Mahalakshmipuram police, Srinivas had contacted him over the phone, saying that he got his contact through a common friend and evinced interest in buying Kumar’s Toyota Etios Liva car. The duo then met near Mahalakshmi Metro station and Srinivas asked to take the vehicle for a test drive.
