Bhatkal man tests Covid +ve; K’taka tally rises to 1147

Bengaluru: A 68-year-old male from Bhatkal tested positive for coronavirus taking tally of infected persons to 1147 in the state.
A total of 55 cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, the health department said in its bulletin.
Till date, 1147 coronavirus cases have been confirmed. This includes, 509 discharges and 37 deaths. One patient died of non-covid issue. Presently the state has 600 active cases.
