Bike knocks down pedestrian

Puttur: An elderly pedestrian died after he was knocked down by a bike at Mukrampady on the outskirts of the town here on Sunday, October 15th. The deceased has been identified as Vishweshwar Bhat (67) of Mukrampady.
Mr Bhat was critically injured in the accident and was soon admitted to a private hospital in Puttur. He was later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru; however he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
