BJP-JD(S) delegation files plaint with governor over Council uproar

Bengaluru: A joint delegation of BJP and JD(S) legislators met Governor Vajubhai Vala and filed a formal complaint on the ruckus created in Vidhan Parishad at the beginning of its one-day session.
In the complaint, the legislators had reportedly stated that the chairman of the council has lost the confidence of a majority of the council members and appealed the governor to intervene and make him step down.
A complaint was also registered against MLC Chandrasekhar Patil who was presiding the session during the uproar.
Lakshman Savadi, Basavaraj Bommai, R Ashok, Madhuswamy, Ramesh Gowda, Basavaraj Horatti, Puttanna Shetty and others were present.
