
BJP members arrested for disobeying prohibitory orders

Mysuru: BJP MP Pratap Simha and over 200 others were arrested by the police today for disobeying Hanuman Jayanti celebrations even after prohibitory orders were made by the Police.
The Hanuman Jayanti procession was taken out without police permission. Police had to lathi charge the BJP members.
The protesters stoned SP Ravi D Channanavar’s car and damaged three KSRTC buses.
The prohibitory orders under section 144 of the CrPC are in force from Saturday as a precautionary measure.
