BJP MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar announces Rs 1 crore for relief

Bengaluru: BJP MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Friday announced Rs 1 crore from his MPLAD fund to flood-affected areas and people.
“Floods have created widespread damage in my state and thousands of lives have been affected. I’m announcing Rs 1 crore from my MPLAD fund to flood-affected areas and people. I request all those who can to help out in anyway they can,” Rajeev Chandrasekhar tweeted.

Meanwhile former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said, ” I’m sick and down with fever. I’m unable to visit flood affected areas now. But I will make sure that i will visit flood-affected areas and people within one or two days.”
