BJP playing politics over Ram Mandir: HDD

Mysuru: Former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda, on Saturday, December 7 said that as Lok Sabha elections are nearing, the BJP is using the issue of Ram Mandir construction and playing a political game over it.
Addressing presspersons Deve Gowda expressed his displeasure over the style of functioning of the Union government. Deve Gowda said that BJP is playing politics over Ram Mandir construction. He further added that Ram Mandir is a political tool used by BJP for North India and Sabarimala in South India.
Defending former chief minister Siddaramaiah Deve Gowda said that BJP is making a pointless accusation on Siddaramaiah of involving in a Rs 35,000 crore fraud. Siddaramaiah for five years gave good governance and have not indulged in irregular activities.
He further added that Siddaramaiah has already given a clarification about the booklet that the BJP has brought out against the previous Congress government based on the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG).
Siddaramaiah himself said that the Cabinet would be expanded after December 22, after holding a discussion. There was no confusion amongst the MLA’s of JD(S) and Congress, BJP was simply trying to make an issue, he said while asked about Cabinet expansion.
