Mangaluru: Karnataka state (youth) president of Akhil Bharathiya Hindu Maha Sabha Rajesh Pavitran on Saturday September 25 accused the BJP of trying to implicate Hindu Maha Sabha leaders in false cases.
Pavitran’s accusation comes in the backdrop of arrest of Hindu Maha Sabha general secretary Dharmendra following a press conference where the latter accused BJP of backstabbed the Hindus by allowing demolition of an ancient temple in Mysuru and is trying to cover up their deed by using Sangh Parivar to fight against the act.
Pavitran claimed that Dharmendra and other party workers, those who were not present in the press conference have been booked by police on charges of forgery and cheating on basis of a complaint made by a leader of fake Hindu Maha Sabha.
He further added that BJP too has started politics of appeasement and is making all types of efforts to finish the Hindu leaders.
Commenting on allegations that he and Dharmendra were misusing the name of the Mahasabha and spreading false information, Rajesh said that the complainant Lohith, who claims to be working as state president of the Mahasabha had been sacked from the party in 2019.
