BJP workers purify stage used by Prakash Rai by sparkling Cow urine

Karwar: BJP workers in a sarcastic manner purified a stage at Raghavendra Kalyana Mantapa premises by sprinkling ‘gow muthra’ (cow urine), where actor cum leftist ideologist Prakash Rai/Raj had participated.
The incident took place on January 16, where some BJP activists said that Hindus worship cow and Sirsi is contaminated by the presence of people like Prakash Rai who consume beef and speak against the religion.
In addition, the activists also blamed Prakash Rai for speaking against Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde, BJP and Hinduism and therefore to cleanse and purify the place they Sprinkled “Gow Mutra” all over the stage premises.
Prakash Rai had participated to inaugurate the “Namma Samvidhana-Namma Hemme” programme organised by the Preeti Padagala Samiti in Sirsi on January 13.
Local leaders of BJP Ganapati Naika, Nandana Sagara, Rekha Heggade, Veena Bhatta, Suresh Shetty, Raveesh Heggade, Sudarshana Vaidya and others spread “Gow Mutra” throughout the premises and raised slogans.
