BSF shoots dead Pak intruder in Punjab, recovers 14 heroine packets

Punjab: A Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the BSF along the international border in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, the BSF tweeted on Saturday.
Fourteen packets of heroin, one pistol magazine, six rounds and two mobile phones were recovered from near the body. “BSF troops noted suspicious activity…at around 2:30 am. Sensing threat, they opened fire,” a BSF official said.
The BSF said they had conducted a joint operation with the Narcotics Control Bureau and foiled the attempt of the intruder who was found with drugs.
