Bus hits bike head-on; youth killed

Kundapur: A speeding bus hit a bike head-on killing a youth here at Masthikatte on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Prasanna Shetty(26) from Idoor.
The accident happened when the deceased was along with his friend Arpita on a bike.
In the mishap Arpita suffered severe injuries and has been shifted to Manipal hospital.
Prasanna was employed abroad was home to meet his family here.
A case has been registered at Amasebail rural police station.
