Bus hits two-wheeler; 11-year-old dies

Mangaluru: An 11-year-old girl died after a private bus,hit the two wheeler in which she was travelling here on Sunday August 12th.
The deceased has been identified as Madiha, daughter of Roshan and Noor Jahan, residents of Katipalla.
The tragedy occurred when Noor Jahan was on her way to attend a wedding along with her two kids on her two-wheeler.
A private Udupi-Mangaluru bus tried to overtake the two-wheeler near Nanthoor junction and in the process hit the two-wheeler. The impact hurtled the trio on to the road causing greivous injuries to them. The injured were rushed to a hospital but Madiha, who suffered severe head injuries, died at the hospital. Noor Jahan and her son Tayyab Ansar are receiving treatment at a hospital.
It is understood that Roshan and his family hail from Shivamogga and three months ago Noor Jahan and her two kids started living in a rented house in Suratkal. Roshan is working in Bengaluru and his elder daughter is also studying there.
