Businessmen check out of hotel without settling Rs 19 lakh bill

Bengaluru: The administration of an upscale hotel in Bengaluru’s Lavelle road have moved toward the Cubbon police to recoup a Rs 19 lakh hotel charge owed by six people, who fled the premises without settling the bills. 

The absconders- Srinivasa Raju B P, Mitesh Solanki, Sathish S R, Venkatesh Bhandarkar, Ravendra Raghav and Vijay Varma – who had presented themselves as businessmen were regulars at the Chancery Hotel and would settle their bills instantly. This time round when the group booked rooms for their stay at the hotel , the administration did not demand a propel installment, expressed James P, the inn’s contact officer in the complaint held up with the police. 

It additionally says that the group who had remained at the lodging for over a month left the hotel without clearing their bill of Rs 19,76,783. Also, they didn’t respond to the calls made by the hotel administration requesting that they clear the bill. 

At the point when the police reached the accused, they agreed to go to the station yet later their telephones were discovered turned off, it is accumulated. The police are currently trying to find the accused using call record details.
